hi Guys, just about finished my latest Kyosho buggy project, I'm getting this ready for a vintage Enduro run in November, need to give it a few test runs before I can give it the ok, the Enduro race goes for 4 hours (2 cars / drivers per team) so it's got to last at least 2 hours.
Cheers Bullfrog
oh dear - I think I am in trouble!! That thing will be a weapon......

hi Guys, thanks for the comments, rims are Tamiya DF03 limited edition green, they fit perfect, I've also got Lazer ZX5 Universal shafts as well in it, front (62.5mm) and Rear (65.5mm). Cheers Bullfrog
Looks good, but it appears the slipper isnt the ZX but ZXR, but who cares as its superb. Im dribbling!!!
Great display piece, and great runner. Are you running brushed or brushless, if brushed and mod then use a 10 double with a pinion between a 19 up to a 23 (I used a 23). If a stock 27 turn then you can go up between 23 to 28 depending, but will be perfect for an endurance race. Looks fantastic.
Work of art, brings back memories of when I got one of the very first in the UK in 88/89.
no problem in fitting the cvd's, the guy I brought them from advertised them as ZX5 - both sizes, just make sure you use the 62.5mm in the front as anything longer won't fit.
cheers Bullfrog
Do you use the inner hole or the the hole further out on the uprights, wide or narrow ???
Original if you used the inner hole then you had to use the w-5063 wich was 3mm longer then the w-5061
Nice Lazer zx-5 ( I know it's not vintage ) I got to play with with 2 boxes of spares and tires  a 045.jpg

I've had this Lazer ZX for around 18 months or so now, it's another ebay purchase. This is the car that Team Blue Groove used to model their Lazer ZX repro body sets with. It no longer has the white 5 spoke wheels but the original yellow ones. I was...

They look OK on my lap top, some are a bit blurry but not too bad. I just deleted a quoted post I made (didn't realize I did that), hope that helps.
Here is my prototype, and as its a proto it is still being developed. As you can see I have redesigned the chassis and now gives me four positions for the cells on either side, as well as further in the chassis for stabability and slightly further...

Rare yes and ive got two prototype ZX--S Evo's. One was built as backup and never ran so is brand new built and is up for grabs for 750 pounds. Pm me if you want.
Got my Lazer new in 1991-1992, it was probably an overkill for me at the time, as there were no rc tracks in my area back then. It was ran for a while and then put aside when I started my army service. My brother used it in the late 90's at a local...

Here's a naked pic, plus the current 4WD lineup.
I took this picture from a 1995 RC Model magazine (spanish hobby publication). I always wanted to have a car like this. Yokomo wheels and Losi shocks.
Anyway has any info?Any pictures?

kyosho lazer's parts or cars very hard to find, you can easily find optima、optima mid series but what happen for lazer.I regret sold that many parts of my old lazer collections.
Well all chassis designs, top decks, shock towers, servo plate, motor...
I know it's not vintage and it's an RTR but is it a deal at just $200.00 or is it only a toy? I like the fact that is comes equipped with full bearings and slipper. The ability to run stick picks (not saddles) is a big plus, too.
I don't race. I...

I had the zx5 rtr and it was a terrible experience. Diffs got loose too often and the plastic parts were always breaking. Sold it in the end because I was spending too much money on it. Might be a good car for flat surfaces but the moment you go to...
