well today i thought it would be nice to tear apart the RC10 and clean everything and even try to whiten it up. I took a bowl of hot water and mixed in a few scoops of oxy clean. wow did that work awesome! all the dirt and grime literally just fell off. and with a little scrubbing it seemed to get some white back. i also thoroughly cleaned the tub and nose and she came out beautiful. since i dont have a full set of original tires i used the bolink foams that i had sitting around. those too cleaned up great with the oxy clean. so below are some pics of the car in a dismantled state and completely finished. i was messing with my camera (nikon D40X) and the pics turned out a little over exposed, just makes it look nicer i guess I also have a picture of my newly aquired RC10T. it has RPM arms, some sort of aftermarket tie rods all the way around, high speed servo, 3/16th" CVD, and a few other mods. i threw in a novak reactor ESC with a speed gems 17T single that i had sitting around. seems to work pretty nice. It will be a good runner. right now its has proline speed paws (i think thats the tire) but i have the original wheels and tires as well as a set of foams.
damn man that turned out sweet,Im doing a resto project myself...tomorrow I plan on whitening all the parts and repainting my scratched up black tub....all I need is the original white front arms...I have a pair of black ones...RPM I think...
Thanks for the compliment! I have two sets of spare 10T arms but I bet you are talking about a buggy. If not let me know. I have the original 10t black set and I know I have white rears as well.
I see you are talking about a 10T (sig) snap a pic of the fronts. They may be factory. I got the original manual with my truck and it came with "rpm" looking arms up front and the classic white arms in the rear.
I have a rc10 and an rc10T from when i was a kid. I have apare parts n wheels for both, but more for the 10T... I want to keep one of them for nolstagia purposes. My question is which one should i keep? I used to race the 10T so i do slightly lean...

you have a complete rpm worlds conversion on the buggy,
here is more information:
these are harder to find parts now, so there is some worth in them, depending on how worn out they are. Even better as a nostalgia and collector piece. What I...
Has anyone had a Rc10 with a buggy body? I remember seeing a pic of one in the forums but I cant find it again. If so what pieces are needed?

yes- minus King Cab which used a hex wheel instead of the wide 5 style hub. IIRC the offset was a bit weird on those as well. For the traditional Tamiya wide 5 wheels like Blackfoot series, lunchbox series, etc you just need the rear wheel adapters,...
Let's say hypothetically(spelling please) i was able to land an RC10 Graphite, and wanted to convert it into a Truck, what kind of CVDs can I use when I install rear RC10t arms??
Is it at all possible to do this conversion??
Has anyone on here...

Ok so I'm scrapping this Idea, cause there's no way I'm gonna cut off a graphite chassis, for one, and I'm not going to be running a retarted looking truck with way too wide front suspension
Anyone no the difference between the 10t vs rc10 rpm enhanced steering kits?

Here's a picture of the 2 kits. As mentioned already, the difference is the length of the arms. The second picture tries to show that difference as best as I could.
i wanted to start this topic to give people ideas of what different bodies you can run on rc10 rc10t and rc10t2.(kinda like the help topics, how to run new axles on old rc10). i was looking for some old builds of rc10s with bodies for rustler ,b3,...
