Thanks a lot mate I really appreaciate it. Is there anyway you could post a 1:1 scan though? I am not very good with photo programs and so I don't know how to scale this to fit you see.
Your car is looking excellent by the way. Where did you score an Andy's body?
Finally, what tricks do you have for fitting 2.2 wheels? I find all the ones I have hit the rear trailing arms. Are there some spacers available or do I have to make some?

It could be resized. I have sent pm.

ebay, of course.

I'm using ZC-835 wheels that was sold as 870C's. But some spacer is needed between rear arms and wheel hubs. Hot Trick spacer (#009Y) is good for that but you can use also Tamiya's stock plastic bearing (1150 size) instead of Hot Trick's.

I have replied with my email via pm.
Bummed I missed the body on ebay was it hidden well? Was it cheap for you? I hope so
I will have to try some old HT spacers. I didn't have any lying around and it was late when I went to fit the wheels.
I don't remember the price... it's several years ago. But I think it's cheap because the condition was not good.
In those day, the another new Andy's SE body was listed and Shodog grabbed it.
Shodog's body was very expensive because the second bidder was me...lol
But that body was really nice.

Oh! Haha I thought this body had been on in the last few weeks! Both yours and Shodogs bodies are excellent.
Well, I have thanks to Tak printed out a scan of the strap and I have bought a set of Parma body mounts which are the same as the RPS items. Now I am off home to measure my grp stocks. I hope I have the right stuff.

I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike. www.gojammedia.com
Tak, do you ever have a problem with the steering bellcrank hitting the drive chain when you turn completely to the left? I'm also using yz-870/10 bellcrank on my yz-834b and the chain hits it when I turn the wheels all the way to the left.
Jay, I would definitely buy a handful of rps bodies to help you make some money back

Sell it to me, Jay, and I'll do something with it.
I've recently become interested in early Yokomo products and was lucky enough to score an RPS Yokomo YZ-834B off eBay. It is a bit of a rough example, but a survivor nonetheless.
Almost as important as the car itself is the documentation that came...
This car has yet to be restored. I bought this off ebay awhile back. I just found a new unpainted RPS body for it. I still need to tear it down and clean it up. Found some original tires and wheels. I really like the look of these buggies. Does...

Ooooh, can you post the 12i review complete? Please... :)
I didn't preserve my original RPS Yokomo SE. Being a stupid kid, I didn't think about taking care of stuff. Luckily, I did buy this extra kit back around '89 from a shop in NY state. It sat around and the shop...

The scan of the decals is up over in the 'scans' section.
I also have the RCCA review and I thought I'd scan it, but somebody beat me to it.
Anybody have thoughts on finding rear suspension arms?
Its been a while since I added a decent post because the last couple of weeks, I have been selling off lots of things to make space as I am in such a small place now. Unfortunately this popped up on my ebay radar and I couldn't resist it....

93E58FCD-27B1-4376-82CA-1E1EE92B7F2C.jpeg Hi all! First time post (new member) for me. I received a box of old RC cars from when I was a young lad. In the box was my Yokomo RPS SE and an Airtronics XL2P controller. I wanted to see what battery...

I still run mine from time to time but then I have three (how did that happen?), one very stock , one retro moded and a third that i cloned with CAD and 3d printed so I could have one I could drive without regret .
This RPS Yokomo belongs to my friend Bob Campbell. He is the original owner and that is his standard racing paint job from the day. We were visiting friends at the local RC track and he brought it out to share. We talked about how these cars would...
