I don't know if anyone has checked on the proportions of the Slash, but it's HUGE! I've seen guys on other forums say the bodies fit on their 1/8 scale buggies. Maybe the SC8 and Slash will be similar in size, but AE actually checked their math before the release!! ;)
The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.

Me too! Looks much better than the TTR truck, and I really like that company.

I wonder if it's based off the B44?

From the way the wheels are offset, and the 1/8th type nuts you can see holding them on, and the similar width/height appearance of the wheels to a 1/8th buggy wheel, as well as the lower ground clearance look, I'd say it's a CORR truck based on the RC8 gas chassis, unless they have wrenched those wheels/hubs onto an electric specific chassis.

Bongo Fury wrote:There is some teasing on the AE site, its the first picture with the Red Bull helmet and the grandstands. A legend of "Stop dreaming, start driving" will pop up. Click on it and it talks a lot about CORR trucks. Check back soon it teases. Also Rick Hohwart has been teasing on a thread on RCTech. Something is coming apparently.
Their a sponser on some of the Corr trucks if you look at the add they show the AC website on the headlight and I watched the race the other day and they showed that same sticker on several of the trucks. I think their just a sponser?

WOW. Thanks Keith. I REALLY WANT ONE NOW! Scale looks to be perfect.

Erik, that pic is a Kyosho Pathfinder.... kinda of Kyosho's Bruiser so to speak. They are quite pricey.

Rick, yes, AE is a sponsor of both the Red Bull and Lucas Oils Trucks.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

I already suspected so, just didn't know it was using an engine.
I'm not into scale trucks nor engines, but for the price it came: 15$ last time I checked... I was really tempted.
Seeing this tread I thought this 1/8 truck might be a good body for it ;)

I have always loved this one. I will have to do a group pic when the SC8 comes out.

I have 2 elec. versions of those Kyoshos. I dig them. The new AE truck looks promising.
