Google [Bot], Google Adsense [Bot] & BST

I recently noticed a Google [Bot]/Google Adsense [Bot] viewing a thread in the BST should that be possible :?: :?: :?:
Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

In fact I have just seen one viewing private messages :? wheely strange to some one who doesn't know what a Google [Bot], Google Adsense [Bot] is (I read it somewhere here but cannot remember)

i know the forum does something wth allowing google to search.

i could care less, but its kinda big brotherish.

I'm not so bothered about BST but I don't want none authorised visitors viewing my pm's (I guess this isn't happening?)

The Google bots scan the entire public site (PMs are secured by user login) for searchable content. The Adsense bots scan page content in order to post relevant banner ads for what is being discussed (or at least it's supposed to happen that way). Nothing to really be alarmed about.
