I remember you mentioning MRP, but I thought you were un-sure at the time. You are sure of it? If you say MRP, that is good enough for me. I have not been able to find any info about it anywhere on the web. Do you know of anyplace I might be able to get some pics or info?mrlexan wrote:MRP, Thought I told you that.justinspeed79 wrote:I have bought RC's not knowing what they actually were. Like others have said, if the deal is good enough, and the car looks cool enough, why not? I still don't know for sure who made my 1/8 electric Indy car, but it was cheap as hell, and it looks cool sitting on my shelf next to my RC10's.
Sorry to get off-topic.

The other reason may be one18th.com has been closed down. And the third reason BST access, upping the post count, not this particular question, but some other posts as " I like it " tend to raise some supiscion in my book.civilguy wrote:One reason for the big surge in members may be the Vintage Nationals.
Maybe I'm just cranky

I got some of my best wins with low bids on interesting things,
I love my RObbe Dynamics 1/7 on road nitros, but I won 2 not boxed before I found a boxed one and worked out what they were, apart from awesomely well made and good looking cars that is.

Re: Noticing an odd trend... again.
Don't feel alone there ericsp2. 'bout 2 months ago I got on here and started asking what I had gotten with an rc10 and a rc10t. I knew they were rc10 vehicles but I wanted to know 'which' ones they were along with what the experienced members thought of them. I also have a kyosho electric I asked the same thing about because of a really good deal at the LHS when I was there wanting to get into an associated b44...while I was dreaming about it and asking a ton of questions the LHS owner showed me the kyosho and it seemed to be the 'genre' I wanted to try but without sticking hundreds of dollars out to be dissappointed.(of which I wanted to add the info gotten from the members here has been invaluable to me).
Another reason for the surge of new members might be that alot of you guys using ebay are posting links to the nationals and the board in the auctions which is great IMHO(nothing like free advertising) and once you get here as a new member you "nasty vintage rc gurus" tease us with all your cool rides
...what else to do besides post 'I like it' so we can gain access to the treasure chest...er, b/s/t area
. I know its for yours/our protection but it still doesn't keep picture stealing creatons out of there...not complaining at all but maybe just a reason to ponder over why the newbies are asking some many questions.
