Re: What is it now Team Associated?!
Finished the frame build. Will work on the body later.
Not the most fun build, instructions are 80% good, 20% confusing. LOTS of screws! Looks like they've already made some updates to the online version of the manual. It does look cool all put together, not something I would've ever thought to see from AE.
Looking forward to working on the buggies again after this! (especially if that new buggy says graphite on the box)

Geezus don’t insult an escort like that it’s more like a Telstar ( mondeo) than an escortCharlie don't surf wrote: ↑Wed Mar 26, 2025 7:59 amHey. That's not fair.
The Mustang EV identifies as a Mustang. You just need to accept that and stop being so damned biased just because it was really born an Escort

Bob Glidden showed what the US Escort should have been....

Re: What is it now Team Associated?!
We actually did get the Escort EXP, but it didn't go over well. I had a 88 GT that my father and I worked over- swapped for a newer sefi 1.9, destroked to 1.8, and turbod with a standalone accel dfi. That car was a blast and spooled so fast it was unreal but as with all old fords the parts became impossible to find and it ended up scrapped.

Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.

Touring car or rally car with 10T wing on the back! Man, if it is a TC8 though, I'm more so going to be afraid of the kit price now. I'm sure it'll cost more than the current B74.2CE so that puts it somewhere at $550-$600 possibly. Touring car premiums and 1/8 scale stuff put the hurt to me everywhere
