It's a Kinwald car, not a Worlds car.

Iridium was a special finish created by DA Graphite. In the right light/angle, it will give of a sparkly rainbow effect.

You can find info on the worlds car and rere worlds in the rc10 history section, and yes they are different to kinwalds actual '93 winning car, which it seems the route AE is going with this time around. Please see the following link for a members '93 replica (kenooze) to fully understand the details of the original kinwald car and get schooled on how to personally customized your rc10 8) 8) 8)

At 50 years old I got my first RC10 last year. I had admired and wanted one since I first saw them in the 80’s as a kid. Having built a few rere’s and restored the 2 A stamps I definitely like the stealth more than the 6 gear but it’s not a deal breaker for me. Aside from e clips flying everywhere and that dang screwdriver slip causing me to put a hole through the transmission housing it was a nice build.

"Updated Worlds Stealth Transmission Case"
"Updated Worlds idler gear and idler shaft"

Will this transmission have a different ratio than the standard stealth transmissions, or is that just referring to moving the bearings from the case to the gear?

Hopefully neither of these, just everything fitting and doesn't need shims.
Frankensteined RC10T3 / Franky Jr RC10GT-e (x2) / A+ stamp / Toy Story RC / Graphite replica / B1.5 BFG 5LTi / Clonewald / Hyper Hornet

AE doesn't do the bearings in gear anymore, that was only the rere back in 2013. The update is probably just fixes for the bearing depth for the diff bearings.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Haven’t they dropped most of the rere’s on a Tuesday after teasing them the whole week before (except for the graphite)?

The clear RC10 was my first 6 gear build and you're right about that one e clip on the outside of the trans case

Yeah, and after zooming in the screws may not be the black hex. If they are, those are easy to replace as you say.
The only phillips screws are the 8-32 ones under the car not sure what you're looking at.
That's the ones I'm looking at, the ones that can be seen in that pic that go through the rear arm holders.
Oh from the color of them? I was looking for a screw head lol
You were right on the 8-32 hardware being hex. It also doesn't have the titanium hardware Brian used but still this is a lot more effort in it than I originally expected. Looks like I'm cleaning up and rebuilding one of my Hydradrives.

Yeah I looked at all the pics closely then ordered it as quickly as I could, lol. They did a good job with it, I'll get the more correct looking screws for it where they should be.
