We run LCRacings version of these in 1/14 scale. Not sure who copied who lol LC has the a 1/10 1/12 and1/14 buggies and truggys, the brushless kits are essentially the same thing. The cool thing about LCRacing is they are available as complete unassembled kits. And the LC cars have a full line of carbon and aluminum parts and reinforced suspension arms. I’m not 100% if the parts are interchangeable but they look very similar. The 1/12 buggy is basically the 1/14 buggy with the truggy chassis, and the /14 truggy is the 1/12 buggy with 1/10 tires and wheels lol.
You simply can’t beat these for running around the house. A few years ago I built a nice backyard track tailored to the smaller buggies, it was lots of fun!
And with the brushless set up and 2200 mah 2s batteries we are seeing 39mph and about 15 minutes of full throttle bashing!
Here’s a few shots of ours…

Re: WLToys curiosity project
First of all, I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Easter!
After some delay, due to a family issue, I finally got a new body and wheels for the project. The body is a McAllister #240 modified coupe. I've attempted a subtle flame job with masking and rattle cans. The handles and mirror are made from jewelry parts I got at JoAnn's. The wheels/tires are Amazon specials.
It's not quite perfect, but I never claimed to be a painter.
Now, I'll be shopping for aluminum goodies to bling it up....Enjoy!
