I saw this item while perusing the cool stuff on this website. Is it an original design (my guess) or is it based on a little known hop up that came out in the early 80's?

that is my own design, just a nod to keeping the original laydown shock appearance but allowing independent motion.

I've been researching a mono shock setup for my current one off project car (Optima) but this levered setup you've concocted looks promising.
