EXO Designs Ultima "Mid" Build

Hey all!

I'm usually an all vintage guy. But I'm stepping outside my box to build an EXO Designs Ultima Mid. I guess you could also call it an Optima Mid 2wd conversation. Anyway, I have a set of aluminum wheels for an Ultima and I wanted to do something unique to showcase them. This kit caught my eye. I looked around on the net and found minimal info of people building the Ultima Mid kit, so here we are.

Cooool ... it's interesting that it says not for JJ version of Ultima. I might have to ask the Exo people why.

I would think that they specified that because of the different servo positions on both kits, they must have drilled the holes in the chassis for the ultima rere and not the holes for the JJ.

I'm curious as well. Could the front up-kick be a different angle? I'm also curious if Exo plans to re-stock this kit? I purchased the last one they had on the shelf. Here's a few pics of what's included.
