Oops, I didn't realize there was a 10T rere forum! I posted my build tips and tricks and test results / setup sheet over on the regular old 10T forum. I think its pretty clear I intend to race my 10T Classic

Got some parts in for the 10T now I can put the RERE through its paces on the track and see how it does without having to worry about breaking parts and not having any spares.

I was going to do a shelf build on mine but I think im going to build a racer/runner out of it with a dragon punch rc composite craft replica chassis. I'm not much of a truck guy.

Haven’t built it yet. Hopefully when I move from NY to Tennessee I can build it and the CC I have boxed.

Has anyone seen or heard of a proper way to convert a 10T to fit a modern short course body(length and body mounts) and modern short course wheels(Hex). I think I will be going this direction with my second 10T rere.
Thanks in advance!

Factory works sells hex adapters for the 1/4" rear axles and that should let you put SC tires on the rear. I'm not 100% sure on the mounting point for SC truck bodies but you can see if replacing the body mounts posts with longer pan car posts would be enough to properly mount a SC body. As for the front hexes you can use the parts from a traxxas truck to make that work.

I plan to keep it on the shelf and stare at it every now and then!

Ha! No, I didn't paint this or my GT. Met a local guy at a swap meet that paints. Does great work!
