I finished rehydrating and whitening the parts from my Traxxas trx-1 project and it turned out great. Everything is nice and semi flexible, and almost the same color as they were back in the early 90’s. My concern now is, should I further treat the parts to keep them from drying out again? Like a protectant? I’d never use armor all on anything, but maybe something similar. Silicone spray maybe?

It took them 30 years to dry out. I think that you're good for a while.
