Electronics arrived. Went all Reedy, figured since the OG car and the RB10 are all reedy, why not? I was eyeing some of the Castle products (they're somewhat local to me), but I also am still learning all the terms, slang, techniques of all this new 'fancy' brushless stuff. Plus, I when I add things to my hobbies, I have this weird 'need' that they need to be 'For Something'. In this case, I could technically run this at the local track in the 4WD buggy class, right? So, therefor I need a ROAR approved motor and esc for Stock class, right? Hence the Sonic 540 13.5T Fixed Timing motor and matching speed controller. And, even though I have other batteries, none of the other cars run the battery horizontally, so I needed a Shorty...

Rear Stealth Transmission build! Neat seeing the belt drive on there. (I didn't know about the after market third party conversion kits till I got this car, and came here and read about it. So, I feel a bit bad about having this kind of weird counterfeit-yet-official car. But, I always wanted a 4WD RC10, and they didn't exist when I was into RC the first time, and of course, as previously mentioned, I just came back in, so...

Other side with the 81 Tooth spur gear and the slipper clutch. I'm going to pair it with a 18t pinion gear, see how that works out.

Well, I got focused on this session, and managed to forget to grab pics of the subassemblies going in the tub.
But here's the chassis stiffeners, rear bulkhead, shock tower, and transmission all mounted in the car.
Also, installed and adjusted the belt. Moving right along!

Overhead view. Next up is rear arms, a lot of turnbuckles to build and adjust, and then on to the shocks.
