although this is more of my "outdoor" work area, this is my new workspace at the moment. 75% of my parts and stuff are in storage... i chose 3 bins for tires, new parts, and used parts in ziploc bags. along with welding equipment, tools and other machines and such.. didnt get everything like my chopsaw/bandsaw/scroll saw/table saw.... which ive used alot lately for metalwork..
i still have all my "track stuff" packed up.. like chargers, batteries, motors, soldering stuff, pit bags etc.. but this is my build station at the moment
I got an upgrade in workspace when we moved a few months ago. My "half" of the new basement is larger than the entire basement in the old house. I just put in a utility sink with a basin pump so I could clean/soak parts somewhere other than the kitchen sink. My next project will be to build a big workbench with some pegboard along the wall where my table now sits. I don't like the tables as I prefer to stand at a taller workbench. My only problem is figuring out how to attach the pegboard to the concrete walls.
Perhaps mount a wooden frame to the concrete wall using masonary bolts....then mount the pegboard on to the wooden frame. This will give u the necessary gap u need to properly mount hooks and stuff on to the pegboard.
My workspace looks much like aconsola's, only mine has had a tornado, cyclone, earthquake, and a tsunami blow through simultaneously. Either that or Tadracket stopped by to borrow something, it's hard to tell the difference.

my wife needs to get on the stick and straighten up my area every once in awhile.
As long as her idea of cleaning doesn't include one of these:

(mother-in-law was going to be getting a divorce and my Fiance has most of her stuff in our garage until they can find a different place. Once done, I'll make a nice workspace in the garage. Some of these spaces are inspirational!
