If it's real, I would have to think it's the MIP project that will be tied to AE. I can't imagine both mip and AE are working on the same thing.
I would assume that AE would be doing a replica of the original 4wd prototype (if it were to happen) though, which is a bit different than MIP's setup.
Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

The problem there is they say stealth trans front and rear which that didn't use, plus they never had that original 4wd for long. It was only in their hands a short while.

See, initially I'd agree with this, but then I remember that both Yokomo and Team ASSociated recently brought out their own versions of the same YZ10 / *70C buggy, with minimal differences..... so, anything really is possible.

I hate to say it, but I suspected Gavin was right all along. He seems like a fraud because he absolutely does not have 1% of the knowledge that the folks on this site have, but he is friends with that basher guy Kevin something (? can't remember his name but every one of his videos get millions and millions of views). Kevin has the whole industry sending him free stuff. I am sure he gets the best info directly from China as he can provide them tons of exposure that money can't buy. He wouldn't care about a 4WD RC10 because that is not his audience, but he might mention it to his buddy Gavin.

If this happens, I believe it will be a first for AE; offering a production version of an aftermarket conversion of their RC10.
Today's AE is a different company so I guess anything's possible.

I must admit that I'm not familiar with the Centro. Was it developed by others and subsequently produced by AE - maybe post buyout? Maybe yes. I just don't know anything about it.

EDIT: Sorry, here it is - I should have googled first.

I might as well go buy my wife something nice now. We're going to have a fight after this is put out there for pre-sale. 😉
