My Green 40th Edition RC10 Build

Post by timjz »

Here's my green 40th edition build so far. As soon as it was released I too decided to dye all the plastic green and black.
Tried to make everything green and black, replaced silver colored parts and hardware with black where possible, installed black steering arms and ball cups from a DS, green tie rods and green crawler style shocks.
Vintage black nose tubes and Fan Rc wing tubes, graphite shock towers and transmission brace and a vintage Green Machine motor to bring it together.
Have to wait a few weeks until it's nice enough outside to paint the body.
Pretty happy with how it looks so far.

Very nicely done! Are those internal hidden spring and oil shocks? I'm not up on crawler stuff. It's a very slick build! Looking forward to seeing the final finished buggy.

Thanks! They are internal spring shocks though they are not currently filled with oil. This will be a shelfer and I don't trust that they won't leak.

Very nice, I used those shocks on a WIld One build and they are surprisingly perfect for it so I imagine they would work well here too. Nice originality.
