Another beautiful set of purple XXT rods. I plan to eventually build a purple XXT truck around them.

Some dude on reddit messaged me and asked if I wanted a kyosho optima (and an rc10l, kyosho inferno, and some other nitro) Of course i couldn't pass up a cheap optima so this showed up on my porch today.

Was it inside a brown paper bag that was on fire?

Is this a reference that I'm not getting? Or a jab at its rather poor state.

It's a reference to dog poo in a bag, set on fire, and put on someone's doorstep as a practical joke - the victim opens the door, sees the fire, and stamps on it to put it out. Cue hilarity ;)

Might have guessed, I'm not a Kyosho fan :P

I'm thinking they are just RPM truck arms iirc. I'm pretty sure it's from when I set out to make an oval truck that was wider than it was long for some odd reason... :(

Edit: No this was the graphite chassis I posted. I didn't look back at it. I believe those are Duratrax arms. I can't remember which Duratrax model though.

Yesterday, but whatever. Picked up an electronics lot with several nice items.

KO VFS-1 Pro with setting card and adapter, VFS-FR (Yoko emblem?), 2368 servo, and tiny 408s receiver (I don't have a transmitter). Also had this little Keyence esc.

A couple Yokomo Pro Stock II's, 11 and 13T (unfortunately). Also had this cool Yoko 23T Super Stock.

Also included some older stuff. Futaba Magnum Jr, receiver, and 9402 servo.

I also got this Sanwa esc/receiver combo. Foreword and brake work fine but no reverse (if it even has it).

Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Got a nice haul of Peak Performance motors from a former sponsored driver. By my standards, I paid plenty for them but he's given me some nice deals in the past.

I was given this JRXT project in a box today. 8)
Quick look it has Andy’s front arms, RPM rears, Tekin ESC, TBD purple motor. It looks like all bearings are roached, it’s missing a gear cover and it needs a spur gear.

Gonna need a build thread to find my way on this one.
