In 1994 Kyosho released the Outrage ST 1/10 2wd electric stadium truck. As the name suggests the Outrage ST was the stadium truck version of the Outrage buggy released the previous year. It shared the same molded Kelron chassis and 4-wheel independent suspension with short lower a-arms from the Kyosho Ultima paired to fixed camber links while twin bellcranks with a built-in servo saver and fixed tie rods completed the steering system. A forward brace attached the steering to the bulkhead and an upper radio plate provided additional chassis stiffness as well as a place for the electronics and transverse mounted battery. Oil filled plastic bodied coilover shocks with spring adjustment clips were longer all around compared to its buggy counterpart and fastened to the top mounting hole in the rear tower and to a bridge that connected the tops of the front tower together. Kyosho's steel motor plate equipped counter gear transmission was called upon to spin the bevel gear differential and steel dogbones. High offset white nylon wheels from the Tracker monster truck shod in 510/100/62 Ribbed front tires and 540/100/62 Pin Spike rears provided the traction. A new clear lexan stadium truck body with offroad lights, mechanical speed controller, Mabuchi RS540SH motor, and bushings were included with the unassembled kit, sold less radio.
Also pictured was the Sandmaster ST, released in 1994, and essentially the same vehicle as the Outrage ST save for the installation of an O.S. .10 FP-BX engine with pull start, pinion & spur primary drive transmission, and flip top fuel tank:

Re: Kyosho Outrage ST
Just got in my MCI decals for mine last week, so I can wrap it up soon.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Re: Kyosho Outrage ST
Nice kit you have there.
I have the Stadium Baja version. Appears to be identical apart from the body.
Can you recommend any modern tires? I want to run it at some point but keep the kit tires mint. They appear to be 2.2", correct?
