It's lighter now but still going. I measured 8" in the middle of my back yard.

That’s basically what we had. My youngest was given a “track the snowfall” at home extra credit assignment and he got right over 8 inches. The pictures I was posting of the backyard are just comical! I would guess there is 24” of snow accumulated on the back deck and yard, from all the swirling and blowing down off the roof and around the deck and fences, it’s wild looking! Definitely not what we are used to seeing round here.juicedcoupe wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2025 7:46 pm It's lighter not but still going. I measured 8" in the middle of my back yard.

Meanwhile here in NY where we usually do get snow in the winter I’d say the most we've seen was 5”
Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out

Crazy that NY has gotten so little, yet the south is getting a huge amount. Calgary has been consistent but less than usual. Same with the temps. No where near as cold as usual. Don't matter, there is always Mexico!

All this snow looks like it's begging for a Clod to go romping through it!

Not by me, but by my Mom this morning down at the Georgia coast, looking out over the marsh towards St Catherin's Sound. It's a buggy, humid, stink hole down there most of the time, but that marsh makes for great views.

Same here, kinda like been here done it, let’s move on lol. Wife and kids are enjoying it, but all I can think of at this point is that they are going to try and open the airport tomorrow and we will need to be there. Hoping it melts a little as the day goes on!THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote: ↑Tue Jan 21, 2025 9:18 pm That's unbelievable for where you guys are at. Hope it melts soon!
I made them a snow man earlier and they did their best to tarnish my creation with boobs and a butt

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
As fun as that sounds, clods don't work in snow more than an inch or two deep, they're too heavy and simply sink into unpacked powder. At least, that is what mine did back in the day. Still had a fun day, though, just had to either pack stuff down a bit or play where it wasn't so deep.Frankentruck wrote: ↑Wed Jan 22, 2025 9:56 am All this snow looks like it's begging for a Clod to go romping through it!![]()
