I got a ECX Circuit slider with an electronics parts lot and picked up a cheap Torment parts car. Between the two, I've put this together. I bought a new battery strap, gear cover, and front axles.
Just need a body and some wheels/tires.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.
So today I walked into my LHS Gallimods up here in Somers NY with my new crawler and told the owner that I needed lights. Several options and such were tried and I just ended up getting light bars for the front and back and some 5mm leds for the bumper plus a set of beadlocks and tires too. I got some fender liners from a guy on FB marketplace for it on my way home and came home and cleaned it up and finished the install of everything except the tires and wheels, it’s Smackdown night so I’m going to finish them up tomorrow.
Cut and mounted another TOJ for the indoor/carpet car....thanks again RC10resto, I guarantee the NIB will never see any asphalt scratches! Will be running both this summer.

Ruined a "vintage" esc heatsink.

I dared not file any further.
Nicely done, way better then ruining a vintage esc by letting them touch
Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out
Swapped out the broken outdrive and prepped the JRX ProSE for racing tomorrow. Had to steal some parts from my X5 to do it as the parts I ordered didn't arrive yet but it'll be back together.
I'll make a build thread for this car at some point soon.
Finished up the paint and decals on my ReRe DS. Stock body, just with the Jon Gooding scheme.
I am about over decals right now, and wish I didn't need to mess with then for quite some time, but I think the next project will be just as dependent on them.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.
Racing concluded. Track is a bit tricky with low power, jumps were a bit too long for even my 17.5 buggy had to go wide for the run up of one of them. Silvercan we just had to single them.
JRX ProSE did a lot better this time around no brakeage but will need to change shock oil to deal with the jumps a bit better without chassis slap but overall i'm pretty happy with the car and with some tweaks i think it'll be a real performer.
Didn't even need to run the Ultima which was my backup car incase the Losi broke. But it looked good sitting there.
I put my AE dragster on hold because I couldn't find the correct 2.5" wide tires for the rear. I found some 2.25" IMEX Road Dawgs awhile back, but they were just too narrow. This morning, I started experimenting with tire spacers, and I think they may just work out fine..............at least until I can find the correct Grand Prixs. The GPs also had a larger diameter which I really want.
