Re: Blasphemous B2.4 Racer
Little delayed. The B2 was way smoother on track than my RC10 by far. The 10 is a framing nail gun, the B2 is a high end 31.7oz 16 inch balanced framing hammer.
The B2 was initially twitchy and lacked off center on power grip. Weighing it yielded 1362g which we 4oz to light *explains why all the B2's were motoring all.of us last year*
Added the 4 oz where I saw fit, raised the FDR, went to 32k throttle resolution and used the HW softening value feature and it was better. Looking forward to some race condition track time to get it a little more there. But it should be fine

Re: Blasphemous B2.4 Racer
Shook this buggy out yesterday- took 3rd in 17.5 out of 17 entries and held 2nd for a bit. This cars fast lap was 12.9, the two TLR sponsored drivers that finished ahead of me were g we getting 12.3's- so for a 30 year old buggy...that's not bad.

Looks really good in the vid. Did you try the inside hole on the lower rear arm? Dont change the spring or internal limiters, just go up 2.5 or 5wt in oil. The increased droop will help around the slow corners and the decreased shock leverage will make the rear lean a little harder in the fast corners. It will be a little softer overall in the rear but now the rear will kinda follow the front around the turns instead of being so locked in when using the outer hole on the rear arm. Mine has B3 rear arms, but its the same concept with the B2.
Old school racing all the way!

Re: Blasphemous B2.4 Racer
I hadn't tried the inside hole, during the track time I changed to middle hole on the rear tower for a little faster corner set, up to silver front springs for a less twitchy feel. It's still way more of a handful to drive than it looks and with my option tire it is way more responsive to steering input....but I was having trouble hitting my marks.
I will develop a total package further. Right now this buggy hit a 12.9, my 21.5 buggy (1990 Jr2 chassied JRX pro) ran a 13.2 and was TQ but ai never tried the double (Losi chassis were a touch fragile) and the B2 drives similar (ish) I also ran my option tire on the 21.5 and same thing, the extra grip made me less consistent and while slightly faster best lap, couldn't string them together well-

Re: Blasphemous B2.4 Racer
Alright. Didn't really enjoy this car during the 2025 Tamiya Vintage World Classic. Had finally put it in the A during Q3 and was bumped down the ladder in Q4 and had to run the B, I pulled the car in the B to take care of some family stuff going on that was more important. I worked my ass off on this car all weekend, I mean way more work than I've had to do in a long time and it sucked. I went through ever setup that I could, none really made the difference I needed.. Car was super touchy, darty and just hard to be consistent at all...so much that my fast lap in the B2 was 15.8 ( I think the TQ was 15.4) but my 21.5 car was a 16.0 and easy to wheel...unlike this car, so just very frustrating. I almost went to my 21.5 car in 17.5 honestly.
I'm going to park it for a few months and focus on my XX for 17.5, I still have my RC10CE that is easy on the track from last year too.
