XXX-T Gearbox Fitting to RC10/10T

Hi, I have a XXX-T gearbox and would like to fit it to the RC10/10T but I am not sure how to do it properly and securely? Do I need to drill holes or if not what parts do I need (It would be great if I didn't have to)? Any advice. Thanks.

Hi Marcel, and welcome to the forum.

What you’re trying to do isn’t too uncommon. Now a lot of people have fitted different transmissions to the RC10 tub.

You basically have 2 choices:

Drill the chassis to you Losi pattern, or add an adapter plate between the chassis and the gearbox.

Now, with the availability of rere parts or repro parts such as FAN RC or JC Racing the question remains why?
