This was a local pickup, rather than in the post.... and an absolute bargain to boot! Tamiya MFC-02 multi-function kit, which provides sound, light and vibration functions, as well as replacing the ESC. Designed for use in the high-Lift chassis (F350, Hilux, Tundra).
I was getting the Christmas stuff out, so i peeked into a couple of totes. Kind of exciting because I didn't know if had it. Not sure what is going on with the arms.

Also found the O.G. I knew I wouldn't have gotten rid of it, but I haven't seen it in years. Pretty stoked! My original 6 gear. I probably spent 40 hours going thru it in every detail. Still smooth af! Rings are gone. No telling what I may have been up to last time I was doing anything with it.

Hah, sorry all. Those posts were supposed to be in the what did you do rc thread. I was distracted. Me, my cousins and a friend of mine all took our trannys to a restaurant called The Italian Village in Illinois circa 1988. Place is still around!

I've been after early '90s Duratrax hop-up parts for the OS CZ-R engine for a few years now. One item I've been looking for is a Stage II head which recently came up on eBay. I feel I paid too much for it at $63.80 shipped but they don't show up often. The last one I saw was NIP but the packaging was too beat up for my liking. You have to figure the contents can't be in much better shape. Anyway, it came in the mail today improperly packed (what else is new?) in a chintzy bubble mailer opposed to a box but seems unscathed.
I also (hopefully) have an early '90s Duratrax slide carb throttle linkage kit coming that I paid an exorbitant amount for which again, I absolutely hate doing but they're super rare. This is the first time I've ever bought a vintage part online from a brick-and-mortar mom-and-pop hobby shop. I was a bit apprehensive about it being legit but had to take the chance.

But seriously, kids taking trannies to the restaurant? I can dig it. My cousin was a Losi guy (JrT). We linked up in Florida one time on a motorhome trip and we had our cars and we would tinker with them in the evening, display them about and around the Winnebago, and then rod the S out of them first thing in the morning before we went and did tourist stuff.

Right when a feller is in a bind and in need of a couple good endbells
Glad they eventually showed up. USPS was really enjoying sending them back and forth between 2 hubs.
That was nothing, I have a set of Associated blue aluminum shock caps that have been bouncing around Wisconsin like a pinball machine since the 18th. Still haven't made it's way into Illinois yet. It's flippin ridiculous.

"... like a pinball machine"..... "flippin ridiculous".... classic metaphor carry-over work
