Man, associated did a really nice job with the box art on the halsey kit. I've thrown away many kit boxes after finishing builds, but this one is a keeper for sure!

No laughing 🤪

As far as my masking and painting went, this was probably one of my best in near 40 years of doing hobby rc, I’m just very impatient. I picked these exact colors on purpose, going with the lighter blue to be different. I knew the stripes would be difficult to get exact, so wasn’t expecting perfect there, and I added the “orange” accent on the left to be me. I am mildly color blind, however I do not think Tamiya knows what the heck orange is 😳 lol That would be my biggest disappointment here, I’m seeing more pink than orange! And the orange was what I was hoping would pop. Oh well, here she is! Sans decals…the Jay Halsey Skittles edition!! 😂

Haha! Thanks all around! Yeah been into Subarus since they first brought the WRXs stateside, this one’s been a little project, but coming along nicely! Speaking of boxer…
