Trying to go for a legit ~70s lawn tractor, so the chrome and M/Ts will be going away. Started off with just a scaled up 1:25 file, but ended up making some many adjustments that I just started over from scratch.

Finished up a 3d printed speed control and top portion of a servo. The wires from an ESC just clip in.

You guys suck :( ;)

I reckon they might not like it here in the office if I started at 2pm..... and my driving home at 5pm could be interesting....

I'm with you Alex. I'm not self-employed, so I have to wait until 5:32 or so when I get home.

Finished this. Need to order another decal sheet to replace a couple stripe decals I jacked up. Last r/c body I painted was nearly 30 years ago. Not great, but I'm ok with it.

Machined up a special diff sleeve for the Navajo because it doesn't have one.
DS.jpg
I finally started building my backyard track last month. Just doing a bit each weekend as time allows. I've been shifting dirt with a wheelbarrow to make the berm. This is how much has been done so far.
3.jpg
This area is where the dirt is coming from. All that is left to move is the rectangular grass island.
6.jpg
The track will be based on the first track I raced on in 1986, which itself was copied from Tamiya's RC Guide Book.
Here's a shot looking over the berm (pile of rubble) facing East.
4.jpg
The straight is going to be 38 metres long with overall width about 16 metres. Jumps will be added after the berm is finished.
Here's what I'll use for the outer and inner track barrier. There's another three rolls as well.

Out running my vintage Stampede with a new motor (Spektrum 14T 550) and had the trucks first casually in a few years.

I haven't torn it apart but the diff has almost no resistance.

Oh well, time for an upgrade.
