It wasn't as cool as I'd hoped. It was a Checkpoint motor label overlayed on a 360PT can.Tommyd wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 11:05 pmYup, earlier motorsFrankentruck wrote: ↑Tue Jul 02, 2024 11:03 pm I knew about Trinity motors and Kyosho cans, but I'd never seen a Checkpoint with a Kyosho can before.

Hey thanks! I added the info. I removed the Bud's #7241 12x2 oval motor due to the potential discrepancy, and the fact there's nothing official to back it up.

Re: Ultimate Vintage Brushed Motor Reference Guide (Discussion Topic)
I mean it is possible there is two part numbers for the 12x2 there seems to be also two for the 15x2, we have hard Proof in my post. My thought is, maybe they had multiple same turn but different build as far as motor can, endbell, AWG in the armature wind. So If I fined anymore I will be sure to reach out.

I had to do a double take on the Bud's 7315 pic. The signature brown carpet is always a giveaway.
