This is my NRC K24, a 1/24 scale Ultima Pro Replica with a lexan wing by Jason Cooper, paintwork by Dominator Airbrushing and custom mini 5 spokes by me. Really fun to drive, if not a bit overpowered.Running gear:

I'm sure we all remember the giant glass case of R/C cars at Toys R Us, and not to mention the aisle with all the NES flip cards where we would stand for as long as our mom would let us and try to determine which game to buy from reading the maker's outlandish descriptions and a few microscopic screenshots. The game would often turn out to be much less grand than the storyline promised... Back to the glass case with all the R/C cars in it. The Shinsei Cheetah caught my eye circa 1986. It came with what I considered a hefty price tag at the time, so there must have been a special occasion approaching, which I no longer recall. The pistol radio and rechargeable battery were the biggest draws for me, but I thought the design was really cool too. It wasn't very impressive to drive, but I'm a very nostalgic person, and really wanted one again. For years, nothing turned up anywhere. After seeing my post here GoMachV was kind enough to give me the one he had! I was super excited, and have not run this one, but love to look at it and remember the good ol' days. I keep it near a few of those NES games I mentioned earlier. Great memories!

I bring a classic my brother and I completed. It is a 1996 Yokomo YR-4M. It is resurrected to absolutely mint kit form, including the odd tire combo that came with it new. Its got a cool jack shaft setup to operate the 4wd. Also, a super smooth high revving Tamiya 13T Dyna-Run mod brushed powerplant from 1996 as well. Period correct Gold Peak cells and LRP ESC and Receiver finish it off. Only way to see all little details is to click on the pics for clarity.

Here is a modernised Graphite RC10 with long 3D printed front and rear arms to accommodate Yokomo long driveshafts and low profile wheels.
It has a few twists including the reversed rear shock tower to have rear shocks more in line. Steering rack is also 3D printed and allows a perpendicular servo mount. Modern shocks and electronics, Yokomo wing and Masami inspired body.

Awesome month. Yokomized RC10 looks brilliant. I also like the look of R16's car for exuding this authentic vintage-charme. For my personal taste the meticulous period correct Yokomo YR4 is so outstanding, I normally couldn't get around it. But finally my vote goes to THECHEETAHCAUGHTHISEYE becase I am a very nostalgic person too and reading this story made my heart goes faster.
