The manual doesn't mention anything about washers, but it would probably be a good idea.

Also, the manual shows the two metric motor screws like they're included, they are also on the cover flap 1:1 size chart, but either I lost just those (2) screws, or my kit didn't come with them.

The gold pan buggy manual calls out a washer on the upper screw but it's common to use a washer on both screws.

Time to cut out the wings and spray them PS-5.

But first up is the PS-21 layer.

Perfect day to paint out there.

There's a lot of weight in the rear, the brushless motor and ESC weigh more than a 1060/silver can combo does, going to use a short LiPo, and move some weight forward.

DS wing is cut and drying, so is the TA body and wing. Should be ready for decals on both bodies shortly.

That's the first time I've seen someone paint the T-Tops open in full Bandit mode...

...I wonder if you can get some little Carrie and Bandit figures to go inside 👧 🤠

The T-tops came with masks to paint them like that, the idea is the decals have the tinting (bottom right corner).

Of all the things I would use 3D printing for, it would be interiors for these, dashboards, top of the bucket/back seats, so from the side it looks scale in there too. Someone on ebay is selling the Sand Scorcher interior plate, really cool effect.

It was now or never for the boxart body, had to do it first or I never would've.

The tail wing script is different from the boxart, and the Makita front bumper stickers aren't red like the boxart.

With the DS body done, the Bandit is next. How can you have any pudding, if you don't eat your meat?

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

Looks great and nice Yaz lyric reference 👌
The difference between good and great, is just a little bit more...

What tape did you use for your pinstripe? It looks great and I always get bleed through.
