Oregon coast was the best part about Oregon. My work used to send me to the coast once or twice a week, usually Newport or Pacific City, and often if my day was short I would take the long way home driving all the way north to Astoria and then highway 30 home. It added some serious drive time but was so much better than sitting in traffic for hours on end.
