Fan RC gold shocks

Anybody got links to a good build guide , I did try and search but failed
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

The kit manual works great, they all go together the same way

Had a couple of interesting boxes waiting for me in the office this morning....
Firstly, a gift from my good friend Andy in Slovakia - a box of reproduction air filters for the Irvine engines in my Schumacher nitro collection. First one will be installed tonight into Daytona #1
Secondly (and far less interestingly), a box of questionable 2.4 transmitter parts that only cost me $1 plus post.... but I'm hoping will enable me to get a couple of my TX stash functioning again.

Osiris is the key.

Scrolled right past your post, sorry about that...
...but there's a copy of the shock manual on site now in case anyone wants it.

The use of green slime is highly recommended. While the RCPS variety is rare, AE still offers it as p/n 1105

Sometimes some new OEM parts are needed.

I also have a few pair of 3/8 x 5/8 bearings in the box. They come in handy for 6 gear outdrives.
The stickers were to get me to the free shipping threshold. And I like stickers.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Didn't manage to post yesterday so I'll cover two days with one post. I got Deans ultra plugs, a sensor cable, RC10 wing wire, teardrop wing mounts, A Reedy Radon 2 17T, some 3000Mah 2S shorty packs, adhesive backed velcro strips and a bunch of JConcepts wheels.
I accidentally ordered twice as many wheels as I wanted. For some reason I thought they were a two pack, not a four pack, Oopsie

I like weird speed controls. I think this AstroFilght 205 counts. It says it's for 6 to 32 cells. Oh boy!!!
I guess they were trying for the drag racing scene.
. .
[edit #1] Well, not so much 'Oh boy' from this one. Garry said it was OK in March 1992. It's less than OK in June 2024. Pretty much unresponsive now. I wonder if Garry had a label for that?
. .
[edit #2] Actually it does work. After reading the side of the box, it says it requires a receiver battery pack.
. .
I guess this isn't a BEC speed control. The motor neutral adjuster won't zero out at the zeroed channel 2 radio trim setting, so radio trim is needed. The throttle response is sluggish in both directions, so I can't see this being a popular unit back in the day. But it is weird, and it does work, so good enough for me.
I guess Garry's sticker is still valid in 2024.
