In 1993 Team Associated dove into 1/10th nitro stadium trucks with the RC10GT. Its black anodized aluminum tub, specific to the GT, tied the drivetrain to its bolt on nose plate which held the entire front suspension from the current version of RC10T, with a revised bell crank offering more Akerman and greater servo mounting options. Rear suspension was standard 10T as well, flipped around with a new bulkhead, fiberglass shock tower and lower shock mounts to allow room for the nitro drivetrain. A rear bumper was also added to hold the receiver pack. The transmission was a redesigned Stealth, laid down and fitted with a disk brake between the slipper and 32 pitch spur gear. Engine mounting options were based around a .12 sized motor and whether it was pull start or non-pull start. Engines were not initially supplied but the 10GT did come with single piece 2.2 truck wheels, ribbed tires up front, pin tires in the rear and a nitro specific body. Kits including either bushings or bearings and versions with sport or team shocks were available:
