Firebrand Tires for buggies on street
Has anyone used firebrand tires on their off road buggies to run on hard surfaces? They look to have a number of tread styles and a low offset that might work on older chassis.
Here is one example. Guessing they're the width of 4wd front wheels. They have a wider set that might match rears, if anyone remembers wheel widths off hand.

They are advertising these as for trucks. These may be larger than you'd want for a buggy.HS-YZ250 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2024 2:57 pm Has anyone used firebrand tires on their off road buggies to run on hard surfaces? They list as 3.25" OD, which is normal for a buggy.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

They are buggy tyres, sold over here as Fastrax Arrow. The link is a set of four, the fronts are only about 5mm narrower than the rears as they are 4wd wheels. The tyres are good for asphalt, but the wheels are a bit fragile though and have been known to break easily.

I wish Horizon hadn't discontinued the Duratrax Banditos in buggy sizes. Was planning on putting them on future builds, but only my parts-to-runner Rocky will get to have them.
