Spoked wheels for modern buggies?

What's available for spoked 2.2 wheels in offsets for modern buggies that use 12mm hexes?

I know there some fronts for drag car variants that work but the rears are always the weird SCT style wheels.

and JConcepts has some that look like NASCAR steelies but not really the style I'm looking for.

Basically I want to add more style to my B6.4 but almost everything is boring dish style wheels.

Jconcept rulux wheels are spoked and are one of my favorites. I run them on my woin new car that use b4 offset. They are obsolete for most models but are often on eBay.

Amazon and Aliexpress are going to have the largest selection. Searches like "1/10 buggy wheels" ... "12mm hex buggy wheels" or... "Redcat HPI Tamiya HSP Kyosho WLToys Traxxas wheels" will bring up pages of results. Have to remove the supplied tires (some are glued, some aren't) but for $15 a set the tires are basically free. Just a few from the first page:












JC racing Products in the UK also makes a number of 5 spoke hex mount wheels, all available in colors other than black:











And Pargu on eBay makes 12mm to Yokomo adapters if you want to go that route for spoked wheels:

Those only seem to be available for mini E Revo.

The issue with Aliexpress is sizes and offsets are always questionable and most sellers dont' post proper information.

The JC Racing stuff is nice but wasn't sure which were actually 12mm. I Know the Losi ones they have are the XX/XX-4 smaller 8mm hexes as I have those. Do the ones for the Schumacher have 12mm hexes? anyone know what the offset is on them?

I can also get these from G-Force (GOP130 and GOP131) but it's tough since they aren't distributed here in the US

Not everyone's cup of tea, but I like the Bandit black chrome wheels. They have a couple different styles. Too bling for many, and I get that. I am sure the chrome would come off easily and you can finish them as you wish.

The JC Racing Schumacher wheels use a 9/16" hex, back then Schumachers cars were an odd mix of metric and imperial sizes. Obviously the Tamiya and Kyosho wheels are 12mm hex, the Kyosho ones have a large offset, the Tamiya ones have less. I should be able to measure the Tamiya ones I have in the morning.

B4 wheels would be great...for older cars with Pin rears and bearing fronts.

I'm trying to adapt a modern buggy, a B6.4, to spoke wheels. This is 12mm hexes all around, front bearings are integrated into the steering knuckle.

Easy enough to convert back to regular axle up front. otherwise I don't know of any full hex sets.

While I appreciate the idea, "back to" would be implying that the car came with fixed axles to begin with and while I could just jam some adapters in there it's not what I'm going for. This would also mean I can't adapt them for 4wd buggies either.

Anyway, not doing that, hence this topic to see what's out there. This might get me to start on making a database of wheels...

They also have them for b44.

The b6 is easy enough to convert back to a solid axle.

Sorry there is no easy answer.l that is drop in. It will require a little effort.

It's not like I'm a stranger to adapting things to cars they don't belong on but this is an exploratory post for what would work without modifying the car and without putting the track width out of spec.
Reasons I don't want to modify the car itself:

I want to still be able to use off the shelf wheels if I need to during a race. crap happens sometimes I need to switch tires to suit track conditions.

I want to be able to share said wheels across multiple platforms.

If it was just a matter of adapting one car for 1 set of wheels it would be a non issue.

Ultimately I'd like to just know the offset of every wheel, and it is crazy to me that many manufacturers and vendors don't give this info. Can you imagine if Actual 1:1 wheel and tire manufacturers didn't tell you the dimensions of their products?

I gotcha, you are looking for a solution for racing and multiple cars.

Yeah the whole offset thing is crazy to me, they should advertise the dimensions. Same for universal joints and cvds too.
