Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I finally painted my ProCat, or at least started on it. I spent the last few months dreaming up cool schemes worthy of its futuristic shape, then remembering that there was no way in @#$% I could pull them off with my painting skills. Yesterday I decided to stop torturing myself and just spray the stupid thing white.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
After putting the little one on the bus to school this morning I took an old clod body I have and sprayed it with easy off and bagged it. Hope I can get it back to white so I can paint it the right way not the lunchbox yellow it was.

Swapped the laydown for a layback transmission. Hoping I like it better.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Getting there.
Upon test-fitting, it was realized that the shock angle is jacked using TRX-1 arms. So it's either TRX-3 arms or I shim the shock tower rearward on the bulkhead. Leaning towards shimming. Have a sacrificial tower, just gotta hack it up!
Also modified a TRX-1 front tower (bottom) to fit a "TRX-2" bulkhead. Lots of filing
Hope you're doin' something fun.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Broke a bulkhead on the B4 from a weak slap to the wall at the end of a straight. Thankfully, had a spare plastic one. Ordered an aluminum bulkhead.
The B6 is going back to lay down transmission. It was tail happy and hard to control with the layback.

Put some more AmPro parts on the Brat. Added the shock mount / body mount braces. I also switched the rear tires for some Trenchers.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

I mounted the ProCAT body. The completely uninspired paint choice looks OK.
The only hint of color is the Factory Works decal. I used Jeff's XLS chassis on this buggy, otherwise it is a kit standard re-re.
