Sell your scale nuts
With the re-release of the Tamiya Porsche GT2 it sure would be nice to have a scale nut to go along with it. How about producing a run of your super scale nuts?

Re: Sell your scale nuts
Strange! I derw these years ago jusrt for the Tamiya Porche........One of a million things I drew but never did. Maybe a wheelset for these babies? Is there anything out there that's like the stocker but in Alum., or would it be untouched ground? P.S., sorry for the delay on answering this Mate! Chris REC

Re: Sell your scale nuts
These Porsche wheels are staggered where the fronts are 26mm and the rears are 31mm. There are a several sets of inexpensive aluminum wheels on eBay. Some are deep dish but still use a 26mm tire. You don’t want to compete with those.
The real weak point of these 2 piece wheels is the gold plastic center. It is made of a super brittle plastic while the outer plastic wheel is stouter. If you were to make an aluminum replacement center in a few different designs that will bolt up to the Tamiya outer wheel, I think you would have a winner on your hands.

Re: Sell your scale nuts
I'm currently working on a GT2 right now that uses the smaller nuts you included with your super scale 1.55 wheels. I found the Porsche hub cap decal from the HPI cup racer Porsche decal sheet fits rig into the recess of the nut. Here's a pic of what they look like

Re: Sell your scale nuts
I've posted some pics on Tamiyaclub and there is some interest in your nuts. Take a look at this link http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=75564&page=30#entry600911

I was hoping you were going to post that you decided to sell your nuts.
