What I think is an early long wheelbase Mardave Meteor and 3 TX's . Well used but I'm sure it'll clean up good .
If a jobs not worth doing then its certainly not worth doing well.

These super cool gold autographics team crp decals! I'd been watching these on ebay for quite a while but got an offer I couldn't refuse. They're actually metallic which is awesome!

One good thing about being out of the main stream RC car hobby for multiple decades is that you get to rediscover cool vehicles that came out that you never knew existed. I think I knew of the idea of rider motion bikes before, but not that they were mass produced. And I think they still make this same bike today, and I think it is identical to the old one, but of course being a vintage guy, I had to get a vintage one.

I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.

They aren't RC related, but who cares? They are damn sure pretty.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

I received a package today...

Marui RC catalogue, Year 1986. For some reasons, this is a very important piece of Marui history

Very very cool , is it 1/8th with a 540 or 1/10th with a 380 motor ? Love to see more if you fancy doing a thread .

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
It's a little smaller looking than a 1/10 but that's what it was considered. Very light, and the chassis is quite fragile. I actually didn't need another one- I have one in kit form that was missing the box. Now I have a complete kit in the box and one for the shelf haha. I do have the "drive tuning kit" upgrade that includes a 540, a diff and new gears as well as the "suspension tuning" kit that includes bearings along with front wheels and trailing arms since stock they didn't even have bushings
It's a weird car in that it's definitely "hobby grade" but built like a "toy grade". I also have the Mercedes on the same chassis and it broke a rear shock mount sitting on a shelf with the wheels off the ground. Eek.
