Wow, that happened quick!
Dig the hex down the center... and the little Autographics signature on the nose... classy touch.

I popped open a T-4 for this buggy. There was enough soil in that thing to start a garden!

Typically, if it had a gasket I try to reuse it. Otherwise no gasket gets used. For Novak electronics that use black tape for seams, I typically use 1/4" pinstripe tape. This particular ESC is getting the shrink wrap 'weight savings' setup instead of the orange case.

ESC and receiver installed. Cases replaced with battery pack clear shrink wrap.

Edit: decided to change to black dyed Novak cases.

The car looks great. Well done sir!!
It's interesting that AE's purpose built race buggies have a much longer wheelbase than their production buggies.

Re: Frankenbuggy '91 B1.75 Detroit-ish Worlds Buggy
In my quest to adapt existing B2/B3 parts, I made a bit of a design goof. A recent shipment of Factory Works goodness included what I think I need to fix it up.

It's nice when things go according to plan. Upper links are now an appropriate length and geometry. Bump steer has been eliminated.

Re: Frankenbuggy '91 B1.75 Detroit-ish Worlds Buggy
I reprinted the custom parts in a material that has a natural nylon color instead of starting as a transparent nylon. This material also seems to have similar properties to the nylon that was used for RC10 parts.
Rebuilding is mostly done. Just need to swap new outdrives into the diff assembly and whiten the gearbox case.

That was well worth your effort to do. Now it’s got that AE back in the day proto feel

Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
