B4 chassis modifications and ID'ing +8mm chassis

Post by adam lancia »

Busting out the trusty B4 again and want to move the shorty LiPo as far forward as possible. I have a low profile servo in there and was thinking of removing the front wall of the battery box to move it right up behind the servo. Has anyone done this and what were your experiences/results?

Also, how do I figure out if I have one of the longer chassis'? I have 2 and they're both the same length.

Thanks in advance!

Here is the longer chassis. You can see in the photo where I circled where you can see it was extended the 8mm.
