RC10 Championship Edition (B Stamp)
RC10 Championship Edition (B Stamp)
I just restored my RC10 Championship Edition (B Stamp) that has not run since the early 90's
I swapped out most of the parts with matching aluminum, and still have the original parts (some broken)
I did a simple paint job to show off the gold pan.
I thought I would share with this community.

Re: RC10 Championship Edition (B Stamp)
Welcome. Are the aluminum parts Dhawk? How do you like them? Good fits everywhere? Any plans to add the nose tubes?

Re: RC10 Championship Edition (B Stamp)
Thanks,
Yeah, I used the Dhawk and on my first attempt I struggled with the dog bones... but eventually got it to all fit and work.
I had issues with the nose tubes… I have them, but they are bent, torn, and I seem to have better luck running without.
Also, I was worried about the weight at first, but with the brushless motor and a big battery, it’s really, really fast.
I think the turnbuckles are now the weakest link.
Oh and I think the aluminum wheels might night be as strong as plastic… there gunna bend… but they look cool

Re: RC10 Championship Edition (B Stamp)
No, the AB and B stamps were sold in both the 6010 CE kits (standard trans) and 6011 kits (stealth). There were other kits within those 6010 and 6011 part numbers as well but those were the common ones.

Re: RC10 Championship Edition (B Stamp)
Thanks for the clarification! Thats good news for me because all I have is a 6 gear and I can still build a correct representation of the CE.
