This is buggy length, but the front arm mount holes are a 10T hole pattern. But the front is too wide to use the 10T front arm mount. What goes on the front of this chassis?

Yep Andy’s pro. Front bulkhead looks like this and like Mach v said very hard to find and usually expensive. I recently ran across one for sale but don’t need another one. @jcwrks

I sold my spare front bulkhead a couple of months ago. The only spare Pro Race parts I have now are a few that also fit a regular RC10. I need to finish rebuilding my Pro Race buggy and enter it into a BOTM.

New member who knows very little about AE cars here. I picked up this modified rc10gt the other day. Its got some aftermarket goodies (MIP 360 Stinger, RPM rear arms, RPM front bumper, I suspect MIP CVDs but not sure). I believe that it started life as a 1st gen rc10gt (b1 as you call it?) due to the white plastics, but it doesn't have the black pan that I normally see on these cars. I cannot seem to find any info about aftermarket chassis for the rc10gt, so what is it? I plan to use it as a runner, but want to make sure I'm not going to damage any super-rare parts in the process. If someone who actually knows what they're looking at could point out the mods on this thing, it would be immensely helpful. Thanks guys!

Looks like a later RTR chassis with the anodizing stripped and aftermarket arms.

There was one made by a local company in Beaverton Oregon called C&J Racing. Pretty sure they were one of the first with slightly angled sides. Came in purple and black, made them for RC10GT and Nitro Hawk.

Edit- after zooming in I can see some purple around the screws. Might well be a C&J Racing chassis

To support Jeff's suspicions, the later GT RTR flat pan chassis has nose tube brace mounts next to the servo and a different nose structure to support the front arm behind the bulkhead.

That's got to be it! Definitely used to be purple and has slightly angled sides. The guy I bought it from lived very close to Beaverton and had had it for over 20 years. Would make sense for it to be a C&J. Cannot believe someone figured this one out! I'll probably be coming back for more advice during this build.

I probably sold parts to him at Tammies hobbies. Craig, the manager for the car side, was C&J Racing. He had the local high school cutting and bending them, then sent them out for anodizing. Was a great deal and the kids made some money staying after school.
