YES!....I been looking for some sponsorship, got $500 from my local track owner....plus an addition $1000 if i break the record.....only picked a couple other non paying deals so far...the car cost alot to build but even more to run...I have to make many slower tests runs leading up to the goal to see how it handles the increase in speed...once I get it up to 150mph and over, it will cost almost $100 per run in engines, that's if I don't break anything....and I am far from rich...just ask Thumbs!JosephS wrote: ↑Mon Dec 11, 2023 3:25 pmWell, If you go for it I'd pitch in a few bucks to see it happen.coxbros1 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 11, 2023 2:52 pmThose aren't radio controlled...I am only going for the R/C Rocket record...not baby's toys on strings, which is what those are...it's embarrassing...the record is 210.11mph set in 2016...it's in the booksJosephS wrote: ↑Mon Dec 11, 2023 9:48 amhttps://www.guinnessworldrecords.com/world-records/fastest-rocket-powered-model-car/

Dear Santa,
It’s been awhile but just in case you read this forum, I have been a very very good boy this year ( have not strangled our CEO or flipped the bird to any bad drivers; both which took considerable restraint) and if you agree I would be forever grateful if you could secure for me a Ko Propo 1001 fet servo, please and thank you.

I had to look that up. Interesting servo. Santa probably has a stash of them.

Somehow I ended up with this, not a 1001 but slightly better specs according to KO.

Re: All I want for Christmas is...
Gotta be RC related, huh? Does rum and coke qualify?

I've been lightly thinking about getting back into the hobby, which would be a Clodbuster or something similar, which aren't all that popular to the locals. I don't like playing with myself, er, uh, by myself, having someone to play with makes the hobby a whole lot more fun.
