The idea was a 1/8th scale RC10 according to RC car action. An RC10T4 chassis with skinny wheels in front and the improved aerodynamics of a B4. Seems more of a 1/9th scale buggy.
"JConcepts have introduced a revolutionary new vehicle concept, the J82, that combines the drivability of a 1/10th truck with the fascination of a buggy. Essentially a conversion kit for the Associated RC10T4 vehicle, the J82 provides the opportunity to race with more confidence for an extended period of time..."
Loved the look and concept. The rear wheels have a slightly different offset compared to the T4 as I recall. I put an Egress body on my RC10T4 after some trimming around the rear shock tower. Ran it at OCRC and it got a lot of interest/looks wondering what it was.
I guess I never ran it at the track with the narrow tires. Seems like it would give a little bit sharper steering than a stadium truck, more stability due to the large rear wing and better aerodynamics. Less weight up front might make it a better jumper. Combining the positives of a buggy and truck.

Re: J82 1/8th scale RC10 Buggy - RC10T4 conversion
Found my Egressified RC10 pics from 2017 inspired by the J82. OCRC. I should have gone way more when it was around.
