Schumacher ProCat Classic 1/10 4WD Off-Road Buggy Kit

I'm trying to restrain myself from a shopping spree on all of this vintage R/C goodness going around. I'm frustrated with Kyosho's limited production of their "legendary series" & it seems like by the time I hear about a new re-release, they're all already gone, and the only option left is to pay 3x the original price on eBay. It feels like the bad old days of concert tickets, when scalpers would buy up all the tickets & resell them for a fortune... Of course that problem has been eliminated, and TicketMaster made that impossible so now they're the ones marking up the tickets 500%. Anyway, back to the topic at hand. I've wanted one of these ProCats forever, but it really isn't in the budget right now. Anyone have an opinion about how much longer these will be available on the retail market? I haven't been watching Schumacher's re-release behavior at all - do they follow the same aforementioned annoying Kyosho method?? Do I have to go into debt to snatch one up today to avoid being disappointed next month? Half kidding... I do need a job to fund my vintage R/C addiction...I mean hobby

If it helps, both the Procat and the Cougar Classic re releases are discounted at Amain right now. I was giving the Cougar a hard look myself....

I just bought a ProCAT from Amain a week or 2 ago. They were marked down $100, so I expected they were clearing them out.

Schumacher still has them in stock. Shipping to the US is about $20.
