Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
My buddy and I already contacted our LHS owner for them.
I’m not making the same mistake for a third time….
Passed on the Classic and re-re Worlds way back then.

Who do you race for ?
Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.
Hey Cru ! Go balls out

I added my email address to the waiting list but only want one if they're going to be a limited production item. Also if I have the money when the time comes.

I noticed the outdrive gears are black in all the pictures. There's also one shot of the car in pieces and you can clearly see the top diff shaft and gear are black as well.
Possibly hardened?

Maybe just the same black oxide surface treatment as 4-40 screws, dog bones and axles for asthetic purposes.

The best part is I don't have to paint the body
I feel bad for the guy who did all of the work to stage this photo, only to have the damned rear spring roll out of place before snapping the shot

What's wrong with a lovely shade of rust?

Don't they call that 'patina' now? Sometimes it even gets a clear coat over it to preserve the look.1300GT wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2023 4:14 amThat's probably what it is.Frankentruck wrote: ↑Tue Oct 31, 2023 7:38 am Maybe just the same black oxide surface treatment as 4-40 screws, dog bones and axles for asthetic purposes.

My guess is it was to try to eliminate as many colors as possible, or try to get as monochromatic looking as possible.

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
For sure ordered one. I over paid on the Worlds ReRe and RC10 ReRe and wasn't going to miss out on this one.
I hope they do another re-release for 2024 for the anniversary which would be sweet.

Re: RC10CC classic clear wait list....
I'm really looking forward to the worth of my collection crashing. If this precedes a traxxas like re-issue of the racing buggies and trucks that would be excellent.
I ordered a rc10CC for me and each of my kids just because what is the use of kids if you can't force them to like your hobbies.
