Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I took my printed car out for a run on the local offroad track, along with my B6.3 and a recently acquired T5M. The printed car is a Badger, a front wheel drive.
Has anyone seen one here?
I also bought another project, a Kyosho Inferno (original), looks to not have a lot of time on it, buy is filthy and rusty.

That Pro Mod car looks very cool with its exposed ring and pinion gear!
This afternoon, I'm just playing in the dirt.
I raced an RC10 with this Renegade body and wing about 35 years ago; further proof that I never throw anything away.

Made a hump pack for my Hornet. Kinda shocked you can still buy NiCad batteries in 2023

No pictures but took apart my last casualty from Friday's racing, a Savox SC-1258TG servo that started to lose center and locked up on me. Turns out that it was just the case that got damaged internally. $5 and she should be back in service in a different car.
I don't think it was that particular model but I did see a FWD buggy in the pits a month or so ago. They really stick out, very alien in nature.notme wrote: ↑Sun Oct 01, 2023 12:43 pm I took my printed car out for a run on the local offroad track, along with my B6.3 and a recently acquired T5M. Consistency is the key I keep misplacing.

Cleaned and soaked the SRT rear bulkhead and fiberglass chassis in 12% peroxide for 34 hours, about 10 hours in sunlight. Before and after pics for comparison. The battery box sides were not in peroxide.

Working on the mongrel. I need to tear the gearbox apart and figure out what is rubbing in there.

Stripped the old worn anodizing off, prepped, painted and cleared the Traxxas SRT motor guard & plate. Now need to wet sand and buff. Really liking this color.

Installed some new parts on my 5-link ProSE.. RPM front spindles and uprights to compliment the RPM swept front arms. Also a set of 1.5” Kinwald blue springs for the .6 front shocks.

And a nice Trinity Maxzilla battery pack because the buggy just needs more color..

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Last night I started working on whatever TH this thing is. I think I have figured out about half of it, but it is soon going to get real uncomfortable for the driver.
I build RCs like people would have done back in the '90s ..................................... if they had 3D printers.
