First RC tools

Post by juicedcoupe »

What did your first RC tool set look like?

Mine was one of the cheap ratcheting screwdriver/socket sets and some jewelers screwdrivers (you know the ones). I might have taken my dad's needle nose pliers as well.

I got these pics from ebay, but they are a pretty close match to what I remember.

I still have the ratcheting screwdriver handle and found part of the jewelers set in one of my old kit boxes.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

That's high end stuff right there! My first collection of RC tools was just an oddball collection of kit included Allen keys, stamped steel spanners and Tamiya socket tools, along with the household kitchen drawer Phillips screwdriver and pliers. I've evolved just a bit since those days however!
