How much do you have to drink to forget making a purchase like that????

Honestly, inquiring minds want to know.... so I know where my cutoff point should be! :P
It’s not alcohol, it’s called aging. I’m losing my memory quick. And the fact it was pre-ordered nearly 6 months ago.

A little late to reply you may have already checked it out. But I believe it is.

Built, never run, Traxxas Eagle. One little mark on the top of the chassis, and a couple of flat tires. Protective clear cover on the bottom :?:

A LXT manual. Hopefully that’s a coffee stain on the front and not vomit…

Originals have "The Falcon" in the tub, at the battery tray. New ones don't, just the part number.

Thanks! That is a nugget of knowledge I haven't been able to find in my limited research. Of course, if you have an original, the tub got the grunt of the damage, and becomes the first thing you replace. And with that, your evidence is gone! :D But, via this test, mine is an original! :P The last parts that got me back to thinking it was original were the steering knuckles. They are the only white pieces on the whole vehicle, and they look like they have aged 30 years compared to 13. The knuckles are a bit worn on the bottoms, but I think I am going to keep them as they show a little age.

It was something that I happened to notice. Three of mine have original tubs and two are new.

If the axles themselves are what's worn, they can be pressed out. The axle shaft is the same as the much cheaper Lunchbox axles. Just swap them out.

Another servo mount ESC for the collection.. An Acoms AT-5. I’ll probably start a thread about these soon.

I'm always shopping for cheap used junkers on ebay (emphasis on "cheap") but I've never had one arrive like this.

P1010244.JPG

The description says "RTR" and the seller was right. Batteries in transmitter, lipo in car, charged and plugged in!

I literally switched it on then drove it around on the driveway.
