Thank you for all the info and taking the time to explain it to me Joseph. I'm not 100% set on having him use the vintage one, but I have several, probably 6-8 rollers I got over the years when I saw a good deal. I have lots of back up parts as well. I was looking it as a project we could work on together.....like I want him to build it all, know how it goes together and comes apart so when something breaks he can replace it. The RTR ones now take out that whole level of enjoyment, to me anyway.

I want to see if he really enjoys it so then I would rebuild my A stamp and the B5M that I have as well....that one I need to get some quality stuff for.
