Tire Question?
Hi
Does anyone still make 2.2" aggressive knobby ST tires? I'm looking for something similar to the old Tracktagators, I'm not having any luck finding any descant big knobby tires.

Re: Tire Question?
Schumacher, Proline, Panther, and Traxxas still make 2.2 stadium truck tires.
Always looking for new and interesting ways to waste money.

Re: Tire Question?
I use these on several of my trucks.
Schumacher VEE-2, available in two compounds. Be sure to buy inserts, as they aren't included.
Traxxas 4790R. Basically the tire that came on many 90's Traxxas trucks.
I get both from Amain.

Re: Tire Question?
Hi
Those are some good alternative options if I cant find what I'm looking for.
These are Proline Traktagator tires, and the Pro Line Dirt Paw Tires are similar but have square knobby's.

I'm having a problem posting a picture.

Re: Tire Question?
These are the Pro-line Trenchers, they're available in 2.2".
The Pro-line Badlands below might be more of the aggressive knobby's that you're looking for, but they're available in 2.8" for stadium trucks and not 2.2".

Re: Tire Question?
Buddy of mine got this truck a ways back now. Pretty certain these are the tires you’re talking about. Big honkin spikes on these things

Me……. I race for me.
That’s impossible, I was told you need a sponsor to race.

Re: Tire Question?
Speaking of big ol honkin spikes…. Just look in one of my boxes and found a pair of these. You can just make out Dirt Paws on their sidewall.
I know they are proline because of seeing them in an ad or something in RCCA even though they have no print on their sidewalls.
Then I also found a two pairs of these crazy looking things. I guess if you couldn’t make up your mind on what thread design to run you could pop on these bad boys and cover all bases

That 2nd set is excellent! Those look like they'd tear into any off road surface!
Frankensteined RC10T3 / Franky Jr RC10GT-e (x2) / A+ stamp / Toy Story RC / Graphite replica / B1.5 BFG 5LTi / Clonewald / Hyper Hornet

Re: Tire Question?
Hi
I used to have a couple sets of Tractagators on my rc10gt's before I sold the trucks, and those trucks would fly across grassy fields like no other tires could achieve. guess I'll just have to see about saving up some extra money and keep an eye on eBay for when a new old set of these tires pop up again, until then I think I'll see about getting some of the Trencher.

Re: Tire Question?
I remember seeing the TracTaGators in the catalogs back in the day, and how ridiculous they were to me even as a kid.
Never forgot the name though!
